Headphones for gym

Apologies if this has been asked. If it has then disregard this post and please point me in the right direction.
I need some headphones my last ones broke after about two years which has made me resort back to the standard iPod headphones. I need some new headphones, around £30, which are suitable for the gym and normal use.
Thanks in advance

Are these the spark plugs? What are the like for cancelling outside noise and the bass?
Or theres also these can't see much difference between the two

Re: Headphones for gym

After looking at that thread and the suggestion in this one I have narrowed it down to the
Spark Plugs-Cheapest option available I think
CX300's- Although I hear you can hear the cable when it rubs against you but they have great sound
Sony MDREX71SLB- Haven't heard much about these so i'm not sure what they are like
So what do you guys think?

Re: Headphones for gym

None of the in-ears work for me, but these are worth a look...

Re: Headphones for gym

They might be alright, i'd also recommend maybe checking out the Sennheiser PX range, if you are in a noisy gym the PXC250 might be worth a look, although they are pricey.

I think the in-ear types like the CX300, spark plug, EX71 etc will probably fall out too easily, and their design for me is not really suitable for hard exercise, they can be hard enough work at times on just a brisk walk.

Re: Headphones for gym

The main reason I am after in ear headphones is because the stock ones sound bad and also they don't agree with my ears(size).
Noise isolating headphones are a must as I travel over long distances by plane and usually over night so i use them to stop hearing the sound of the plane.
So you could say the headphones aswell as being used for the gym wil also be used for general use.
