I need a cheap pair of headphones mainly to listen to the TV in the evenings as our lounge and diningroom/kitchen are pretty much open plan and sometimes especially if you are trying to concentrate on a good drama it is very hard to catch everything that is said.

Anyone recommend anything that gives a good sound but at the same time cuts out backgpound noise really well.

About £30. I,ve read a few reviews on the creative hn700's and they look quite promising?
