BOSE QuietComfort 3 headphones?

Had the chance to try these out yesterday in the Apple store and i was blown away. They even let me use my own iPod Video so i was able to listen to my own music and even try some movie viewing on my iPod Video with Return Of The Jedi.

I was wondering if there is anywhere that does a better price than the standard £275. Also i was wondering if anyone had used these Headphones for Late night (Wife friendly) DVD viewing?

Cheers.

Lol £275 for them...

Spend £150 on some excellent IEM's and they will blow the QC3's away.

I hate to be here again preaching.. but BOSE are just laughable.

Re: BOSE QuietComfort 3 headphones?

To be honest, with Bose you get average quality at high price. I own Bose speakers, because the wife can live with 5 bose speakers around the living room. For the same price, I could have bought different speakers that look more clunkey, but sound better. I just couldn't convince the wife to live in the same house.

On the other hand, when I buy headphones, I don't have to worry about the wife. I buy Sennheiser and Grado.

Re: BOSE QuietComfort 3 headphones?

i have some quietcomfort 2 headphone swhich are the same but in an over ear rather than on ear format. PM me/check my listing in for sale section if you want to buy them.

but i do have to agree they sound very good compared with other headphones, especially in a noisy environment.
