earphones for iPod Nano? recpmmendations?

Just got myself a 2nd gen iPod Nano.

Am after a pair of earphones. Will be used while travelling, walking and the good old eliptical trainer!

Any recommend a pair?

Been looking at the CX300.. would these annoy me when walking and stay in my ear while training?

Thanks

I use PX100's. not in ear but sound quality is very good and because they sit on the ear with a headband they are good for the running machines and dont get caught when you turn your head.

I prefered my Koss Porta Pro over my PX100, but then thats me.
Also musical taste and sound taste come into it.

Some prefer sharper highs, some think this is "sibilant" or whatever.

CX300 rocks, my current favorite for general use, but it might annoy you when in the gym or moving about.

Also, it depends on budget. As you could drop some serious wedge on some Shure's.

If it were me or and you were being frugal, get CX300 for "normal" use and get the 5 quid over the head things for the gym, you'll only sweat all over them, so get a pair you dont mind trashing.

I bought a pair of cx300, impressed with them. Nice sound. When walking though I can hear every step...well until I turn the volume up a bit ;-)

Re: earphones for iPod Nano? recpmmendations?

You have got to try a Koss PortaPro. They prove that dynamite DOES come in small packs...

"They" all said try Senn's or this brand or that brand BUT if you really want the best for your iPod (mine is a Video 30GB 5th Gen) then you gotta get the PortaPro... So I did... I never liked small headphones until I bought these beauties... Now I even use them on my AV equipment...

I also noticed for about a week, the more I used them, the better they got. Probably the break-in period.. Some headphones do run themsleves in from new and they sound heaps better once run-in...

"They" = All the so called Know-All's of the sound world... This time "They" were right...

these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Etymotic-ER6...672997-5566829

for a black Nano.

I got a white pair off ebay today (half that price) for my old white 4th gen ipod & they're the business. & btw they leave the CX300s standing, I know 'cause I've got both.
