Headphones for jogging

Hi guys,

I’m in the market for a cheapish (less than £30) pair of headphones suitable for jogging. I’ve been reading through this forum for a while keeping an eye out for anything suitable but I haven’t yet found anything that’s convinced me that it’s definitely the right one to go for.

Initially the CX300 caught my eye because of the decent write ups many gave it, but I’ve since found out that due to the deep in-ear headphones they’re actually totally unsuitable due to the thumping whenever your feet hit the ground. Oh well…

I think that I’d prefer either in-ear or clip headphones rather than big external over the head ones purely because I’d be worried they would be too large for jogging otherwise.

Anyway, if anyone got any tips for a decent pair I’d greatly appreciate it.

Oh and as for my musical tastes, I tend to listen to indie / alternative (god I hate that term) style music…

Cheers
Trist

Re: Headphones for jogging

Koss KSC-75s are worth looking at. Very nice sound quality. I've jogged in them a few times and they stayed put. Koss Porta Pro sound even better if you don't mind the headband.

Re: Headphones for jogging

Most important thing here is to get water/sweat resistant ones...

I use Sennheiser MX70's as they're specifically designed for sports use

http://www.style-your-sound.com/

They do in-ear, headband style and little over the ear things - MX70, PMX-70 and OMX-70 accordingly.

Mine were £19 delivered from eBay, brand new....
