Headphones for Gaming!!

Hi all.

I have about £40 to spend on some headphones for my computer. I have an Audigy 2 ZS and I really want to use Headphones with a jack as opposed to USB.

Having a MIC is not really essential but if there are a good set then I would get them however I would really not want to dip in quality just for a MIC. I could always buy a seperate one after all.

Any Suggestions

Re: Headphones for Gaming!!

Just bought some Creative HQ2300D headphones, will take digital 5.1 or stereo inputs via a 3.5mm jack. Haven't used them for gaming, but the sound quality for listening to music (either 5.1 or stereo) is pretty amazing, although I think the sound when watching DVD's leaves a little to be desired. There's plenty of bass without being to 'boomy', and lots of detail in the upper frequencies as well. Because they are also made by Creative would have thought that they would match your sound card nicely.

I got mine for just over £50 delivered, which is a bit over your budget, but worth checking out anyway.

Hope this helps.
