Smile Headphone amp shops in London

Recently I bought Sennheiser HD580 and Beyerdynamic DT880. Could anyone recommend some headphone amp shops in London?

X-Can V3 is very popular in my home country. Do you know shops that sell Sudgen Headmaster or Naim Headline or EARMAX Pro?

Re: Headphone amp shops in London

Headphone amps are a pretty niche market and therefore not very well represented on the high street.
To be honest, you're really going to battle to find a headphone amp in any of the shops.

Re: Headphone amp shops in London

I haven't seen any around in Tottenham Court Road, I asked about them in ASK and they didn't have any despite being four floors packed with the latest stuff.

Re: Headphone amp shops in London

You cant buy the best headphone amps in the high street.

I would recommend the Heed Audio CanAmp. So much better than anything you can pick up locally, and worth the wait IMO.

Re: Headphone amp shops in London

I think the only headphone amplifier that you are likely to find in UK High Street shops is the Musical Fidelity X-Can v3. There is a huge diversity of headphone amplifiers, but you have to find them and buy them online; www.stoneaudio.co.uk list several. I think www.head-fi.org is the best place to start.
