Broken headphones, help!!

I've managed to break the wire connecting my senny PMX200s to the 3.5jack, just before it enters the plastic connector. I can't take going on the tube without headphones!!!

Is there anyway I can get this fixed? I've only had them 4-5 months, the phoes themselves are fine...

Please help!!!

Re: Broken headphones, help!!

Hi,you should be able to get a 3.5mm jack from Maplins etc.Which you can solder onto the wire ends etc.You might have to be careful thou as some of the thin wires seem to only to be insulated from each other by one wire being lacquer coated. You should'nt lose much cable lenght if the break is near the connector.

Cheers BOB

ps Jack might be fatter thou(plastic bit),so check it will allow you to fully push home the jack into your music player. You can sometimes file/remove some of the plastic if its causing any probs.

Re: Broken headphones, help!!

Sennheiser are very good normally so I'd suggest you contact them first, they may just replace them for you.
