5.1 medusa headset sound problem help pls

Ok here is the problem when i am playing "GAMES" i get 2 types of noises 1 is like a airplane going over your house at night. The other is like when your trying to tune a radio channel in. They both happen when i am gaming. If i am on my desktop on msn, watching a movie, looking at websites i get no problems. It's just when i am gaming. I get like a airplane noise or a whistleing noise i have a Audigy 2 ZS sound card. So does anyone have any ideas or any clues how i can play with clear sound instead of noises like whistles or planes going over my house. Many ppl have said when i use teamspeak it sounds like i am in a plane.

So of anyone can help i'd be forever greatful.

Thanks alan jackson.

Re: 5.1 medusa headset sound problem help pls

not sure about the airplane (do you live nr Heathrow?) noise but the other noise is electrical interference

... try moving the headphone amp or turning off other electrical devices to find the source of interference or turning the volume down on the headphones and up on the amp

...these headphones are quite good but do suffer a lot from interference

I think Medusa have something on their website about it as I looked it up before and posted in an OCUK thread!

The amp suffers from interference pickup especially if you have it directly next to a PC. I have managed to get it interference-free by re-siting the amp.

Re: 5.1 medusa headset sound problem help pls

I found my medusa amp suffered terribly from interference. I managed to minimise it by re-siting the amp, turning the in line controls on the headphone remote down very low and using a ferrite ring on the cable.

I was very pleased with mine until recently but I've broken the pin on the headphone connector for the '.1' channel now.
