E2cs Vs E3cs

Hi folks, my PMX200s are just about to give up the ghost, I'm thinking about replacing them with in-ear phones. I now Shure are good, but I don't think my budget will stretch to the 3s at the moment. What i'd like to know is whether there is a a huge difference between the 2 and the 3, i listen to mp3s on my vision:M at about 190kbs to 256.

Also, does anyone know of any other decent plugs in that price range, £50-60.
Cheers for the help!!
