which in-ear - Sennheiser MX 300 or Sennheiser MX 350?

Looking for some OK and cheap headfones - which would be better Sennheiser MX 300 or Sennheiser MX 350? Obviously the 350's are newer, but are they any better?

Don't want to spend any more as i'm not a huge audiophile and have more pressing matters (ie kids etc!).

Both are quite good budget phones. The MX300 seems a bit bassier, whereas the MX350 is more trebly but goes a bit louder (good for portables) due to the latter's lower impedence. The MX350 has a short left cable which can be annoying, but overall is my favourite of the two soundwise.

Which gives the most detailed sound?

The MX350, without a doubt seem the more detailed.
Even better would arguably be the MX550 though (the volume control is really handy), if you can afford the extra tenner or so.
