best cans for me?

hi, currently I've got a pair of sennheiser hd555's, I generally listen to alot of music and play alot of fps/rts games. I use my soundcard as the source, its currently an audigy 2 but I think I'll be changing it to a m-audio rev 5.1.

The music I listen to is rock music generally, I listen to some other stuff but majority wise its rock music, specificially guns n roses and other mid-range rock (as i would call it) very guitar heavy.

With this in mind I'm finding the sen's lacking abit of oomph, but they are good for gaming, after my soundcard upgrade would I see a significant difference to warrant keeping the senns, or are there some headphones out there within my budget range (£70) that would do the job better for both gaming and music?

From what I've seen, it could be unlikely but I'm not that keyed up,

Grado sr60/sr80s are better for rock I have generally seen but not so hot for gaming.

What about the AKG's? Beyers?

I'm kinda on deadly ground in a sense, for gaming I've got no problems with the senns but for my music they really lack the oomph I want.

Thanks.

As you would only get @ £40 for the HD555's keep them for gaming & get some Grados for your music (?)
