Anyone tried one of these. I'm looking for an amp for HD600's. I'm interested because I think this headphone amp may be based on the Tripath chip, similar to the T-Amp which I use to power my speakers. The T-Amp in my view is a great amplifier, but I understand its not easy to use it with headphones. The DrHead mini Headphone amp seems hard to come by in the UK any advice on where to get one?

No it's not based on the Tripath. I wouldn't read too much into it, a regular opamp design if properly implemented can be just as effective.

The Dr.DAC has me hugely interested though.
