I would choose the SR60's. Although if you watch films more than listen to music then go for the 595's.

You really need to listen to both the Grados and the Sennheiser 600 if possible(and any good dealer would do that),as both have their merits, but the sound quality is different.
Both are very good quality 'phones, and also will benefit from a headphone amp if possible,as you've already noted.

yes in probs
they offered me the 595's for £80 on the phone i asked him is that for deffinate he said yes, as i said to him i only had 80 to spend so would he do them for £80 if not i would buy the 555 from superfi for £80, the shops are next door to each other, so i rushed out cost me a tenner in petrol to get there and him say he didnt say anything like that on the phone but i had asked him at least 3 times and explained the deal we had agreed to and he was all for it on the phone, by the time i had got there superfi was shut and i wasnt going to go home without any after all the messing around and deff not going to buy them from him so i then had to treck across to the richer sounds near bury another 30min drive, if he hadnt have offered me them for that i wouldnt have rushed around after work etc and for him to totally lie when i got there i couldnt belive it
cheers lee

Surely someone else online would have been cheaper like ebay or discount discs?
