Aluminium Enclosures for amps etc??

OK I'll ask here in case (pun intended) we have any memebers with a connection to or knowledge of a supplier.

I'm looking to recase one or two amps which are currently in the basic aluminium Hammond cases.

What would be nice is to get a decent thick front panel milled etc at a reasonable price so the amps look less home made.

Someone or somewhere that would perhaps do one-offs from a drawing/software file.

Any ideas anyone.

Obviously UK based would be better.

Thanks

Steve

Check the t-amp link in my sig. They've just started doing really nice cases from somewhere in Italy. I got the replacement front panel along with one of the cases - the amp now matches the DAC. They're quality enclosures, a significant step-up from Hammond cases.

Don't think they can help with milling. I'm leaving my blank (it's a power amp, so that's ok), but I wouldn't like to attempt touching the front panel myself, it's solid.

The cases are made by these folks ... Hi-Fi 2000.

Thanks I have a link for a seller in Italy from another forum which I dug up that's for the same case.

Just a matter of the email/fax/telephone ordering

This place in Italy sells them and other nice bits & pieces.
