Wireless Headphones

I am looking for a new set of wireless headphones, to listen to my Teac Distinction Series CD Player and Amp, and was wondering what would be ideal. I am looking for real quality that would last me years, and would like to know which are the best in terms of price and of course quality. I have no particular budget, but I would like to keep it below £100.

I really don't know anything about wireless headphones but would be grateful if anyone can explain what makes a pair good.

Ned - from what I found out when in the same position some months ago there is a big compromise in sound quality if you opt for wireless rather than wired headphones - I wanted the best sound I could afford so I went wired - your preference(s) may be different - Also worth a search in this forum for "wireless" (if you havent already) & over at www.head-fi.org (but a word of warning that that forum can "seriously damage your wallet"

I think if anything pandaros box is open once we say Cordless headphones arent that good compared to Wired headphones.

If you visit headfi forums it will just make it worser trust me...

If your in a postion to listen to some £100-200 headphones (corded) I advise depending on your wallet/finances to NOT listen thru those cans.

I think going down Currys/Argos and just looking at a pair is best.....

As you can tell I sadly went to headfi forums/replaced my £40 wireless headphones with some £100 Senn HD595s and although amazing wish to go back almost Wireless+closed headphones are great life features I miss

However, I've seen some Philips SBC HD1500 Cordless Headphones with dolby digital capabilities that are a bit on the expensive side (about £260), and was wondering if they are any good?

Was looking at these very pair the other day, they look similar to these pair:

They look the same but dunno exactly if they are... and cant see any UK sites that sell them although they list currys/comet are retailers... dont see them.

But there digital wireless cans so technicaly there better then the RF and other sub 100 quid wireless cans.

Cant see any reviews of them either..

where did u see it for 260 quid anyhow? I can only see it for about £320 something on amazon and thats a second hand one lol

thx, looks like popcorn may have it but its not on there website search area..few other places in europe may have it... again nothing too concrete almost as if the models been discontinued, the 1505 maybe its replacement.

ive emailed philips asking if these headphones will be on sale anytime soon and where abouts/contacts and stuff...

I'd strongly advise avoiding Popcorn.

Kept me waiting weeks and weeks and the dates they said they were getting stock came and went every time without any success.

If you do use them, take their estimated stock arrivals with a pinch of salt, and prepare yourself for a long wait...

Well got a reply back from philips they dont even sell those new wireless cans in the UK... still commend philips for the quick reply more shocked then anything lol
