Good portable amp for less than £100

Hi,

Looking for a good portable amp to use with my Ipod and B&O A8 headphones.

Had a Cmoy amp but that bust looking for something a little more robust

Any suggestions would be ideal.

Will be used on B&O A8's mostly but also on my Senns HD-650 when i am away from home with them.

Cheers

Stu d

You should check out the Head-fi forums, they have plenty of info on everything headphone related.

I will have one very soon for sale! That is a lot better than the Penguin amp you had (as I have also had the Penguin amp). I have upgraded again and going to the pro version. It's the one I talked about before if you don't remember PM me and I'll send more details. Note it comes with it's own carry case, charger and rechargeable batteries good for 1000 charges so at least 5 years (well depends on use I guess) and will be well under your £100

Recently bought a pocket amp from gary@electric-avenues.com and am very impressed with it, i use it with my Sony HD5 and the increased performance is excellant, cost $54 (£28) without charger or $60 with US charger which i didn`t need for UK go to electric-avenues.com to see amp.

what he said really - I have a PA2V2 also - excellent with my portable sources but not so good with my HD600's (but good excuse to lash out on something more substantial for home use )
