Looking for quality headphones for up to £100

Morning guys and gals,

I'm looking for a good quality pair of headphones for my hi-fi at home and have up to £100 (ish) to spend. My old Sennheiser HD480s have earned a place in the headphones retirement home (must be at least 8 years old by now and the foam in the earpiece has actually disintegrated...)

Any suggestions?

I'd go for Grado's, and look for a deal, getting the highest number you can. I have some 125's, bought for a little more, and I'm very happy. The real advice would be to go and listen to some. Most hifi shops stock a range.
And, if you are a bit more brave, go to head-fi.org and keep an eye for some used ones at much cheaper prices than here...

I would also recommend the Grado. A bit retro looking, but sound reprodction, even from an iPod is great. I have the SR 60's rrp £90, think i paid £65 all in, on ebay.

I was actually looking at the 80s. I might stretch to the 125s if you think it's worth the extra. What do you reckon?

See if you can find some HD600s going cheap. I bought mine new for £120 from Ask a year or two ago. They are £139 there at the moment. Superb headphones.
