Grace 901's v the rest

Just wondered how a 2nd hand Grace may stand up to the usual amp suspects (headbox, Rega, G Slee etc.).

and, if I buy it 2nd hand from the US, will it be no use here? ie set up for their voltage.....???

I'll be honest in saying that I haven't heard any of their designs myself, but I think you'll find the various reviews of the Grace rate it very highly indeed,as do many of the posts on www.head-fi.org which as a US based site can be useful for info on US products....it's also a user oriented site,so you will find feedback from owners there.

The Grace has it's own DAC built in,which may be useful also,in a CD based system.

There are UK outlets for Grace products, and the successor to the 901(not surprisingly the 902) retails for about £1100 over here.

You would need to enquire from Grace Design as to whether these are multivoltage designs, but the website does suggest as much.
