Nottingham

I'm new to this area, and want to invest in an amp (see my previous post). From reading, it looks like being able to test run things is the best option.
If anyone is from the Notts area and knows of any meets/decent shops/or owns so much stuff they would be happy to demo it and give advice, please get in touch!
If you want to email rather than post here, leave a note and I'll stick an addy here.

Several decent shops in your area

Chantry Audio (out by A1)
Nottingham Hifi (Alfreton rd?)
Castle Hifi (Maid marrion way)
Definitive Audio (Long Eaton high end valve mainly)
Nottingham Analogue studios (Eastwood for valve amps only!!)

I have always like Nottingham Hifi as a good general
