Question Connecting Headphones to TV without a headphone jack

Hi there,

I have a Samsung TV which has no headphone port.
I want to connect headphones to my TV.
Is there any way of connecting headphones to a T.V using audio output or any other port?

Thanks in advance.

Well, you could try and conncet the TV to a stereo/hi fi, then, using the left and right audio out on the TV, conect the head phones to the HI fi.

It depends on the connections on the tv but the answer is probably yes you can get a headphone out.

Basically you would need to get the L & R audio out - either from a scart output or even rca output connections from the tv. Run this into a small cheap headphone amp and plug your headphones into that.

A basic headphone amp should serve for tv sound, something along the lines of a cmoy (you may want to google that).
