Mono playback from a stereo socket

I need to get some headphones wired to palyback in mono from a stereo 3.5mm socket.

Recommendations? I once spoke to a firm in the north eat that did this but I've lost ther details.

I think the Sony headphones designed for TV use have a mono stereo switch.

They don't list the feature here but I'm certain they have one. Try to see them in the flesh somewhere.

Thanks for that. I'll look into that product. What I was more interested in was getting some existing headphones modified.

As I said, in the past I've spoken to a firm in the north east, but I've lost their details.

Why not just to change the "jack" to mono one?
