Hi

Go for these
http://www.avforums.com/forums/showt...ght=Sennheiser

I also have a set of HD600's but keep on getting these out as they are so convenient (the sound quality / bass is pretty good too)
The lead is short so you will need to get a extension cable

At under £50 you can't go wrong

Many thanks

RON

If you follow the link to the hifibitz.co.uk site, then it describes the phones as...

"The HD 25 SP-1 is a pair of closed dynamic headphones for persons with severe hearing impairment."

I think that encompasses most "DJ's" that I have come across! But I think these are definitely for more sensible listening as well!

Hi

Thay are intended for DJ/Studio work - But being closed back they are great for cutting out external noises (just what you need if you are a DJ or a home Cinema nut)

I'm not sure about Hi-Fi Bitz marketing strategy of "The HD 25 SP-1 is a pair of closed dynamic headphones for persons with severe hearing impairment" - This statement could be a bit off-putting

Look on the Sennheiser website for a bit more info

Many thanks

Hi

As another option (i realise my last post was just more a dig at dj's than a sensible post), I would suggest the Beyer dt231's which I myself own. They are a closed back headphone, ideal for watching films without waking up the missus.

I have had these for a couple of years now, and they sound cracking with whatever I listen to, and are comfy enough, with their soft foam pads, that you can wear them all day.

For less that £40, a very reasonable alternative.

Stew (being helpful for a change... ish)
