earbud headphones

I had a pair of sony earbuds that came with the clie nx73 and the bass on those earbud headphones where really really good, so now after a while the earbuds broke and now i need new ones, i tried some of my old ones but they either cant play as much bass or make crackling sounds, so i want to buy new earbud headphones, but how do i know if it can play alot bass? is it that i have to look at the frequency response, they higher the frequency response, the better the bass? cause i found one that can go from this range: 10Hz – 25kHz. Or do I have to look at something else to know if those head phones can play alot of bass?

this was the headphone i found

If you are using clie, I'll recommend Sennheiser MX550 Earphone since it come with a ultra-lightweight volume control. MX550 focuses more on the clearer and more detailed highs. With the Basswind system, its bass performance are not bad at all.
