Hello folks,
So being the avid music listener that I have become lately, I've found myself more interested in obtaining the best sound from my speakers. Now usually I let the audiophile in me only affect what main headphones I buy, but recently I realized that I find myself listening to my music via my iPod Touch more then I do any other means. So I've decided to do a little research into the best noise cancelling earphones out there.
Now for the past year and a half I've found the Sennheiser CX300 brand to be superb value for money, yes the original set never lasted longer then 4 months but the sound quality was impressive and the cost even more attractive. But I know there are probably better sounding headphones out there, that do probably cost a little more. So can anyone recommend any wise upgrades from the Sennheiser CX300 II Precision Eco?
To be honest if I don't find headphones that meet my needs then I'll probably find myself buying another set of CX300 II Precision Eco headphones, but I'm actively looking for an upgrade pair that will offer better sound. I know you can spend ridiculous amounts of money on these, the Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 Pro can cost £200 plus on average. But I'm willing to check out any recommendations.
I should note that I do have a thing for Sennheiser products, all the headphones I've ever bought have been Sennheiser and they've been bought because of the quality I know I'll obtain them their headphones. But that doesn't mean I shan't check out other brands.
Thanks.
EDIT!
Forgot to mention some of the headphones I've already been taking a look at:
Play.com (UK) : Sennheiser CX 550 Style II Headphones : Electronics - Free Delivery
A friend as highly recommended these, plus they seem to be the more sophisticated upgrade from the CX300. Never seen these for sale before so there new to me, but price wise it's about the price I'm willing to pay. Currently my first pick.
