Need some wireless headphones on a budget

Hi,

I've recently bought my first house with the girlfriend and to help us stay together, I've decided a pair of wireless headphones are a must. I like to play Xbox pretty loud and as this house is a terraced, i dont think the neighbours would be to happy either. Could anyone suggest some decent wireless headphones for around £50 or under?

Also, i'm only going to be sat a few metres from the TV when playing so are there any decent 'wired' alternatives? Do you get a noticably better sound with wired over wireless? If they have a decent lead length, i'd be prepared to try them.

Thanks loads in advance
Tom

wired will always sound better than wireless - you pay for wireless tech in lieu of sound. For 50 quid anythi

You can get and extension cord for most phones from any electronics or hi fi store.

Cheers mate. Do you know of any particular models i should be looking at? After having a little look around the forum it looks like i might be better off going for the Ear Force X1's as i would pretty much only be using them to play Call of Duty and they seem to get good reviews with the added bomus of having the mic (which i dont use often but you never know). Is this the best solution or is there a decent alternative?

Audio Technica AD700 + clip on mic. A700 if you need a closed model and provides some additional bass.

how would the mic work with the 360? if i were to get the Audio Technica AD700 + clip on mic, would i then have 2 wires going to my amp? If so that sounds a bit of a ball ache.
