Ok, so I'm loooking for a new pair of headphones around the £150 mark, and I was wondering if you guys could help me decide.

Things to consider:

1. I love in-ear headphones, and these are what I want
2. I love bass, the bassier the better
3. Quality and clarity is important
4. I listen to lots of metal, rock and indie, but I need good performance for the occasional techno, dance, rap.

Apparently the Sennheiser IE8s have a bass adjuster built in, for cranking up the bass. That sounds great to me, but are they actually a decent pair of phones? Similarly, the Sony MDR-EX700s are apparently great for bass, but Im worried Sony dont have the same mark of audio excellence. Which out of these two should I buy, and if appropriate, reccommend another pair as well as picking one.
