Looking for good quality wireless headphones

Hi guys looking to buy some wireless headphones. Now im aware that for the price you will get far better quality sound from wired headphones for pretty obvious reasons.

But i am interested in a wireless pair of "on ear" headphones. As it gives me freedom to move about. They will generally be used for listening to my hi-fi, which unfortunatly due to land lord conditions I cant have on too late in the evening as a result headphones are a must. Would also probably use it with my iPod when im on my travels.

looking to spend around £150-£200

I have a broad selection of music from Classical to Metal.

Any reccomendations?

I did look at them, but decided against them because they are no good for travelling, They dont have a portable transmitter, and they are too big and bulkey to carry round.

I decided to buy a pair of Sennheiser MX W1s so far so good, they sound great not only for wireless headphones but compared with wired headphones at a similar price ( went a little over on the budget - £209 from mymemory.co.uk ) but i was very pleased with the result.

My only issue with them is the twist fit design, apparently they are supposed to fit perfectly due to the different sized attachments, i tried all 3 sizes are couldnt get them to fit perfectly (maybe i have a stupid ear shape !) never the less they are comfortable and they fit in fairly securely but not as much as i had hoped.

What's the actual range of your Sennheiser MX W1s if not in the same room? I can't decide whether to go for the Sennheiser MX W1 or Sleek Audio SA6 Wireless Earphones and it basically boils down to the through-the-wall range (i.e. not straight line, unbroken sight range).

They say the Sleek Audio SA6's are "up to 18 metres" in a straight line, and they say the Sennheiser MX W1's are "10 metre range" but not sure whether that's general roaming or straight line etc.

Thanks in advance for any response.

If you can use bluetooth then the Nokia BH-905 would be a good bet.

If you're looking for good SQ wirelessly STAY AWAY from bluetooth. Not very good for great sound.

The SA6s are great in that price range (like a previous poster said before me). Very good wireless IEMs. You can use them wirelessly or plug a cable into them and have regular IEMs as well.
