Are all Sennheiser cables asymmetric?

On the verge of upgrading to CX300's but noticed they come with asymmetric cables and need to be worn around the back of the neck rather than the front. Just don't think I could get used to that. Equally would find the Soundmagic PL50 annoying as they have to go over the ear I believe (even without the provided attachment).

Are these assumptions correct? If so are there any alternatives that:

a) Allow me to fit Comply T500 foam tips so can use in gym without falling out
b) No ear attachments (over the top or around the back - just straight in!)
c) Budget around £50
d) Don't want them to protrude out too far like a nob-head (techncial phrase)
e) No volume control on the headphones

Any advice much appreciated
