Sennheiser CX400 II

Hey,

I'm thinking of getting these earphones and I was looking for some opinions on them.

I was wondering, what's the sound like overall?

But a main question I had was about the 'symmetrical cable'. I'm used to my sony earphones where the right cable is slightly longer, so it goes behind ur neck, so they can rest round your neck if you want to take them out say, to speak to someone for a bit. Does this symmetrical cable feature mean that they're both the same length and therefore not long enough to go round your neck? Or does it mean that you could start them at either ear, and put the other one round your neck?

I'm pretty set on these, but the only thing putting me off is this symmetrical cable thing. So I was wondering if someone can explain firstly what it is. And if it is that it won't go round your neck, do people not find this annoying? I would imagine in that case that they'll then hang from your ears and put pressure and weight on that from the cable. Having them hang round your neck takes that away.

If anyone could let me know please, that'd be great.

Many thanks,

Graham.

Re: Sennheiser CX400 II

Hey,

I've now spotted the CX95's on amazon for £35, so just £5 more than the CX400ii 's.

Was just wondering what the main differences are? Are they both symmetrical cables? Is one better than the other? Is it worth the £5 more to go for the 95's? Or are the 400 ii's better?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks,

Graham.
