Creative X-Fi to JVC SU-DH1, how?

I have a Creative X-Fi xtrememusic and have tried to connect it to my SU-DH1 but I can't seem to get any sound

This is for watching movies by the way.

I set the Flexijack to Digital I/O and the Dolby Decoders to external in the console launcher, connected the digital cable to the Su-DH1 and set the audio output to SPDIF/Digital out on media player classic and also windows media centre but so far no luck.

Has anyone connected their PC/Laptop to their SU-DH1 (or A40 mixamp) and if so how did you do it?

Thanks in advance

Re: Creative X-Fi to JVC SU-DH1, how?

From what I understand, you will need to disable the on board DD and DTS decoding on the Xfi and allow the JVC Unit to decode, thats what its intended purpose is..

Hope this helps..

Managed to connect my pc to the adapter via the optical out on my motherboard, DH isn't as impressive as I thought however or perhaps my expectations were too high
