Budget closed headphones? are the sennheiser hd228's any good?

I'm looking for a pair of budget closed on-ear headphones for use in uni/commuting/library etc.

At the moment I've got some in-ear ones (i think sony mdr-ex71 SLB) which I like - so my standards arent really the highest! - but I get a bit of pain in my ears after extending listening - thats why I thought on-ear might be better (is that even right?)

Two that I've been looking at so far are the senn hd228's and px200's. Cos im used to in-ear ones I really need the pair I buy to have decent bass but then also if they're not too bulky it would be nice. I know people will always suggest open ones, but closed back is essential

Is there any advice anyone can give pleaseeeee?!?!

(oh yes and i would like to spend about £40, but if they're worth i could be convinced to part with up to £60)
