If they are from Play and not the market place, i would suggest yes. Bearing in mind i think they are also an older model.

Maybe worth a look though perhaps? Is it the cx550 that replaced them, do you know?

I want a good pair of in ears, but i've had to buy the Comply foam tips to keep them in my ears....currently on cx300's. Would the 500's be a significant upgrade would you reckon?, or is there better out there for similar money?

No, the CX 550 replaced the CX 95's

Incidentally, the black CX 500 from Play is £12.89 ! Scrap that, they're from a reseller ! Sorry

Not knowing anything about legit stuff, i would think that Play would sell them as genuine (not the marketplace sellers). I'm tempted, i must admit. Were they any good?

Yeah i reckon the same, the more i think about it. Glad i didn't bother. It's a mine field, trying to find a good deal without it being "too good" eh?

If Play are selling them they will be genuine. If they are coming from a third party seller, they could possibly be fake.
