This or that?

HEy hey everyone,

It's been a while since my last visit to the forums. Busy busy. I'm in a bit of a muddle with head phones.

Just got myself an iPod touch, to discover that the max volume is rather poo! Very dissapointing, although i have to give it to apple. It's a great little tool to have in my pocket. Shame it dosen't preform that well on its main function lol!

Anyway, i was hoping that some new headphones may improve listening to music on the little blighter.

I was thinking of some Bose in-earheaphones. I'm finding it hard to justify the best part of £100 on headphones though.

Another pair thats just causght my eye while trawling amazon. Skullcandy Ti's

I wanted some opinions though first. The price tag is much more appealing, have to be honest they look pretty cool too. TPhen again saying that i haev rather odd taste on the best of days hahah!

Would really like some input on the matter, thankks in advance people.

O.

Re: This or that?

I think you should avoid both Bose and Skullcandy, both are frowned upon in headphone circles as there is much better available for quite alot less. Take a look at stuff by Denon, Shure, SoundMagic, Audio-Technica, Ultimate Ears.

Headphones & Earphones | HiFi Headphones Store - iPod earphones, wireless headphones, in ear headphones, Sennheiser headphones plus Grado, Audio Technica & Skullcandy - HiFi Headphones is a great site for headphones

Re: This or that?

^ X2. Bose are well overpriced for the sound they give, and skulllcandy's are just flat out cack.

As well as those above, who all sell quality products, if you can find Vsonics where you are, you will get terrific sound for less than those bigger brands.

Vsonic Ro2pr2 or Head Direct RE0 are very good. Don't know if they're available in the UK though.
