Grado Prestige phones, supra-aural?

From the pictures on retail websites the SR60i, SR80i, SR125i look quite large to be supra-aural, and the SR225i and SR325is definitely look like cirumaural phones. But the the Wikipedia article on Grado Labs says that all the phones are supra-aural except the GS1000/PS1000. Are the Prestige phones on the large size for supre-aural? Would they cover most of the ear? Would the SR225i/SR325is almost be circumaural if you had small ears?

It's only really the bowl pads that make them look circumaural - they're all supra. Small heads and ears may get a cirum effect

Thanks for replying! Do you have any Grado phones? Its between the SR125i and SR225i that they change from 'comfort pads' to bowls. Is one more comfortable than the other? I need some phones to listen to an Arcam Solo Mini - since the headband on my Sennheiser HD280 broke!

Yes, I do. I have the Alessandro MS1, which is a comparable to an SR125, and Alessandro just tweak them. I've also listened a lot to the MS2 and Pro, which are brothers to the RS1/2.

I prefer comfy pads, because I think they are. Some people make a big deal about pads sounding different, but there's not really a lot in it. You can always buy comfy pads for any Grado.
