Advice on a selection of in ear headphones

Hello all,

After managing to put my Sony MDR-EX85s through the washing machine as consequently now don't produce a bass I am looking to replace them with a similar pair as I really liked the quality. Has anyone had any experience/ can give me some advice with the following pairs:

Sony Ultimate MDR EX90LP (£30 on Amazon)
Sony MDR-EX300 (£29 on Amazon)
Sony MDR-EX71 (£18 on Amazon)

or just better off sticking with what I know and paying £30 for another pair on EX85s?

Thank you in advance

Re: Advice on a selection of in ear headphones

Think I had the EX81's, they were the ones with over ear holder, but in ear, quite good, but they were really bad in cabling.. Flimsy, such a shame.. Cost me 90 AUD landed from US... Ages ago though..

Re: Advice on a selection of in ear headphones

I had a look at them but was put off by the comments about the build quality. Strange really as I've never had a problem with Sonys before, think I got about 3 years out of my pair previous to the 85s, hence why I'm quite keen on sticking with them.

Stick with what you know, and try not washing them this time, I doubt your last pair liked you very much, clean sounding were they?? .. LOL

Re: Advice on a selection of in ear headphones

Don't bother with the EX71. I can roll off 3 instantly that are better; Senn CX300, Panasonic HJE50, SoundMagic PL30
