Tritton AX Pro Set Up Help Needed

Hi to all im new new on here but have been browsing this site for some time i have just bought some Trittons as i wanted a headset for my 360 PS3 and PC but i cant seem to set them up right i was wondering if the headset is the problem or just me i cant distinguish between the front and rear sound any help or advice would be much appreciated
