Anyone got Sharkoons or AX Pros????

Has anyone got sharkoon X-Tatic v3 or Tritton AX Pros? My mic has started playing up so will be sending them back for replacement. I'm also not sure whether there is another problem with them which I need to report. When the activision logo spins round on cod4 on startup the sound cuts out for a millisecond at certain points of the spin which makes me wounder whether I'm getting full surround sound. Also if you play the THX optimiser audio test that comes with disney pixar films such as Monsters inc. 3 of the speakers don't play a sound on the test. Subwoofer, SBL/SBR and SL, also when playing through SR and center they are just short bursts. When wired up to my amp via hdmi they all play fine as expected for the correct lengths. Both are dolby digital 5.1 on the ps3 sound settings. I've also noticed via the earphones it says dolby digital multi-channel on the PS3 info on screen during the test whereas via the amp it say dobly digital 5.1. I'm not sure if I have actually got a problem or whether its just incompatibity with the thx test.

Has anyone got a pair of the above headsets they could try the test for me to see what results they get?

I have the sharkoons and they sound absolutely awful. The mic is pretty good, people can always hear me clearly.

Version 2 or 3's?

Do you have the same issue I'm experiencing?
