Audio Technica ES7 question for owners

Are they over(around) or on ear?

Reviews are giving mixed answers and I can't find a local stockist to go and try them at.

Cheers

Re: Audio Technica ES7 question for owners

I think they're an in-betweenner, depending on the wearers head size and ears. I've seen them out in a shop - they're not all that big, really meant with portability in mind.

Re: Audio Technica ES7 question for owners

Thanks. It was more of a comfort related question. I am looking for some phones that sit totally around my ears. Sounds like these may not be them...

Comfort isn't related to whether phones sit on or over your ears. I have an MS1 which sits on ear, and they are just as comfy as my DT250, which sit over.

It's more to do with fit, adjustability and clamping, and ES7 owners I know vary in the comfort with these for clamping force.
