I'd rather have smaller, more discreet headphones but closed ones would be better.

They are very good. Been making them 25 years and still selling. I have the KCS75 which are the same thing in clip on style.

closed would be better for on the move/public transport though.

I love my Porta Pros but they are ugly.
They are handy for travelling as they fold up.
Sennheiser PX-100s are more conventional (not as ugly) and fold but have a touch less bass response.
