Sennheiser Sound Tour

Looks as though Sennheiser is showing off some new stuff. I'm hoping they'll have a few HD800's kicking around.

I have the tour dates for this if anyone is interested in when and where they're coming to your city. It's basically every major city in North America, I'd list them all but there's too many.

Hi guys,

I have had the Sennheiser HD800's for about 1 1/2 months now and can personally say that they are the best Heaphones that I have ever owned.

I also own the HD600 & HD650 with the Kimber custom cables, and would never part with them.

I havn't carried out a side by side comparison especially with the HD800's but I do know from the length of time that I have owned the 600's & 650's, that the 800's definately open up the high frequencies ''which are clearer''

It's like a veil has been lifted and am now hearing subtle improvements, not just the higher frequencies but across the board.

These differences are enough to notice and are very welcome indeed, the soundstage is larger with better bass extension, and because the ear cups are larger this helps with the sound stage.

Also the larger patented Transducers are ground breaking on paper, and this works in action, most people will say for the price of these ''it should work'' and you are right there.

I myself am an average guy with a regular job, who had to sacrifice other things in life to have these luxury items, but for me it has been worth the effort.

On top of this I will be purchasing a decent headphone Amp, of which I shall spend the time in choosing the right product.

these heaphones will also sound good at playing dolby surround.
