Best over-ear headphones on a budget: £30 - £50

I'd quite like to get a pair of over-ear type headphones, with a budget of between £30 and £50. So far, I've come across both the Beyerdynamic GT 231 and the Sennheiser HD215 which get good reviews for the price range. Which other ones in my budget are ones to look at?

I will mostly be using them to listen to music through both my laptop and desktop, and occasional gaming use (but no microphone needed). I will probably also use them from time-to-time with my iPod. I mostly listen to either indie-rock or classical music, with some electronic stuff and no rnb/hip-hop. The closed type of headphones would be nice to block out ambient noise, even if sound quality will improve a bit. Almost anything will be a vast improvement over the speakers in my laptop. Also, as these are a birthday present (), it would be nice if whatever you recommend is available either on the high-street or through large online retailers such as Play or Amazon.

How about Skullcandy Hesh's?
I use them, and they hardly leak any sound at all.
They look fairly cool, and if you get them online, they are usually <£25.
Plus they are really comfy
The downside to them is that they are a little fragile, and can become a little fatiguing after a long listening sesion...

O yea, and play's picture is out of date, they look much better irl

Re: Best over-ear headphones on a budget: £30 - £50

I'm not an audiophile myself (yet) but I'm also currently looking for a quality pair of headphones. So far these Goldring 150's look to be my best bet after reading the huge thread on Head-Fi.org: Headphones, iPod earphones, portable audio, MP3 players, high-end audio. If you google it you should find the thread eventually.
