Headphones that don't break

Over the past few years I've had 4 pairs of Sennheisers, a pair of Panasonics, and a pair of Sony's and they've all broken in different ways(mostly the cables). They were all DJ style headphones and I was particularly pleased with the sound of the Sennheisers but they all broke. What headphones would you recommend I get with a budget for about £50 of £60 or so, I wan't DJ style overhead headphones with really clear sound quality and are tough... should I get wireless ones because it is mostly the cables that break on these headphones although I use them regularly so I'm worried about having to keep charging them up and I'm also worried about interference with all the other wireless gadgets in my house.

Thanks

Edit: I've seen alot of Skullcandy headphones around but I haven't really heard much about them.

Re: Headphones that don't break

My kids (teenagers) have got through two pairs of Sony in ear, two pairs of sennheiser over ear, two pairs of ipod phones plus several cheap in ear ones in the last two years. while I have had the same sennheiser HD 433 in constant use for about 20 years just with foam replacement. so I guess what some people think is being careful isn't.

re Skullcandy my son has two pairs and so far they have lasted well, they also have a replacement scheme.. if they break out of warranty or if its your fault they will replace them for a set fee.

Re: Headphones that don't break

Obviously build quality can only come from ownership

With over head style I own Senn PX100, HD600 and Audio-Technica ESW9. The ESW9s a few weeks back were inadvertantly in a thunderstorm (don't ask). How exactly do the cables break for you? I would advise a conscious effort to make sure the cable is slack. I do that anyway
