Various heads phones not sure what to do?

I have a damaged set of Etymotic ER4p's which need a replacement cable or an upgraded one i have been quoted $214 from appuresound for an upgraded cable as etymotic are quite annoying when it comes to RMA's. theay ask you to send the er4p's to them first (costly) then they will ship back once fixed another cost.

Also have the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5Pro but the cable is far to stiff and I am after a softer cable or an upgraded one but not sure which.


lastly custom ear plugs are these really the way to go?

I am currently not sure which to do first?

No worries i just ordered a replacement cable for the ultimates from here null-audio.net

and will attempt to file down the connectors of the older cable so it fits the er4p's.
