Pads for some HD25's - Leatherette or Velour?

I have just bought a pair of these second hand and it is likely that I will want to replace the pads soon.

I am just hoping to get an idea of what is most popular.

I am going to use this for simply listening to music or watching films at home.

Thanks

TD

Re: Pads for some HD25's - Leatherette or Velour?

Leatherette can get very sweaty, and over time/with heavy usage, they will flake and peel.

I've got velour on my phones and they are very comfortable and soft. If they are removable, velour is easier to wash.

No idea if you have a choice of pad material with those phones tho.
