Better than the Sennheiser HD595?

Just wondering if there any better headphones for £103 than the Sennheiser HD595.

My main uses will be:

Games
Movies
Music.

many thanks.

P.s it will be used with a X-Fi Titanium.

Re: Better than the Sennheiser HD595?

Are you considering them or looking to replace them?

If you're considering them then there's a roundup here. I went for the Audio-technicas myself but which one you go for seems to largely depend on what sort of sound you want.

If you're looking to replace them then you may be better off spending your money on a headphone amp/USB DAC like the iBasso D2.

Re: Better than the Sennheiser HD595?

Goldring DR150s have been rated by a number of people higher than HD595s. I've tried both and would generally agree but the HD595s have a wider headstage and clamp the head a bit less.

The DR150s were on offer at play.com for £30 recently. More usually they retail at around the £60 mark. They offer some serious bang for buck though, even at the higher price.
