Ultrasone 580 vs SHURE SRH840

Hello. I have whittled down a selection of about 10 headphones to The Ultrasone Proline 580 and the Shure SRH840. I know they are both great headphones, but given the immanent release of the Shure, I have no reviews to go on; I know there is a bit of info. out about these (all very good, which is why I'm stalling on the Ultrasone), but could anyone offer me a little guidance (I'll use them for both Amp/portable use) … Many thanks.

Re: Ultrasone 580 vs SHURE SRH840

We're really interested to hear the Shure SRH840. We'll be getting stock as soon as it's available here in the UK.

If initial feedback from beta testers on Head-fi is anything to go then it looks like an excellent closed back headphone. I think you can count on Shure to get it right with their flagship model.
