Re: hdmi to scart

The Sky HD box does have many different connections including HDMI, Component, scart & S-Video - see Here for more details.

Re: hdmi to scart

Hello s4rgyrs6

There is no benefit in externally converting the HDMI Output of SKY HD to Interlaced RGB to work with the SCART Input on your Display when the Source and Display already have RGB enabled SCART Input/Output sockets.

It is possible to Convert and Retain the 'HD' Signal from the SKY HD HDMI Output to work with the YUV (Component) Input on your Display (cost approx 150.00 GBP) - though you need to ensure your Display works with 720p and or 1080i at 50Hz on its YUV (Component) Input.

This is where the problem lies, the new Sky HD box doesn't have connections for component out.
