switch help - dvi in - 2 dvi or 1 dvi 1 hdmi out

Hi,

Apologise for the terrible title of this thread. No expert incase the title didn't already give that away.

I have a PC which I wish to connect to my LCD TV, my pc monitor and pc speakers.

I want a device - a switch I think - that will allow me to input Video (DVI) and Audio in from my PC. And have the ability to switch outputs between between 1)TV via HDMI and 2) PC monitor (DVI) and PC speakers.

Any advise on how to go about this is most appreciated. I searched and found the following product:

Would this do the job?

That will do the job fine , and that also looks like a very nice little switch for the money I might add. Very flexible in what it can do ! I think I'll just have to pick one of those up myself !

Just one note of caution, don't expect it to combine the sound onto the HDMI output so for the TV you will probably have to take a sound cable to the TV as well as the HDMI cable if you need sound on the TV itself.

Thanks for the advise much appreciated.

I was thinking HDMI to the TV as I thought that would take care of both video and sound. Seeing as that may not happen would I be better just taking a DVI to the TV as well as AUDIO.

I'm looking at a Series 6 Samsung which has a DVI input for PC.
