How have you connected the sound from the PC to the amp?
What are you using to test the sound?
Games for example may indeed only output 2 channel sound to the amp but if set correctly a DVD played on the PC could send a 5.1 bitstream out to the amp to be decoded |
I managed to get the screen problem fixed by going into my graphics card settings and selecting an option where you can adjust the display so that it can fit in your screen. I still need to play around with the other screen settings to get a nicer picture.
As for the sound, still problems

I am connecting by optical and coax, but both ways it is only the 2 front speakers working. I have tried dvds. The surround sound is working fine when played on my xbox 360.
The drivers seem to be up to date.
